Pleasure Lanes in Hilton, NY is hiring for various positions within our bowling center.  The two most important qualifications are a positive attitude and a sincere desire to help us grow the business.  Previous experience working in a bowling center is highly desirable…but we are willing to train people who possess the two main qualifications.

The roles we’re looking to fill are:

Brunswick A/A-2 Mechanic

Desk Attendant/Pin Chaser

Assistant Manager

We’re very flexible in considering individuals who can perform a combination of these roles and we will consider full time and/or part time.  The following is a list of responsibilities for all positions:

Brunswick A-2 Mechanic

• Maintain the pinsetter machines and perform various cleaning and preventative maintenance duties

• Respond to machine calls by correcting malfunctions

• Check previous days/shifts call sheet & log book to check for potential/existing problems. Fix those problems.

• Clean gutters/capping, lanes, approaches and settee area daily

• Oil lanes daily

• Clean pinsetter parts on a set, repeatable schedule

• Clean and maintain pit area

• Follow all pinsetter and general safety regulations and procedures.

• Perform various other duties as requested by management

General Qualifications

• Positive attitude

• Desire to grow the business

• Previous bowling center experience

• Ability to withstand noise generated by machinery

• Ability to stand for long periods of time

• Ability to troubleshoot quickly

• Good basic reading, writing and math skills

• Able to communicate effectively and get along with a wide range of guests and co-workers

• Ability to resolve problems and remain friendly with guests, who may at times be difficult to handle

• Must be able to safely bend, reach and properly lift objects up to 50 pounds

• High School diploma preferred
